LIGHT & LUSTRE

a wife, a mom, and the heart behind Light & Lustre. Born here in the PNW, I've spent a good majority of my life in this stunning, lush environment and a few years in Northern California. You could say I'm a true West Coaster! I've got two beautiful children and an amazing husband who works hard to make sure I don't have to. Instead, I get to chase my dreams! I found my passion for photography in the early Pandemic days. I had just had my first child and everyone was social distancing when the holidays approached. I knew I wanted cute, corny photos of my son, but had no idea who to reach out to or how to make that happen, so I got crafty and set up a little "hot cocoa" scene in my kitchen. (Check it out below!) We had a BLAST and although they're clearly not my best photos from a technical standpoint, they were probably my favorite I've ever done! I dabbled for a while in holiday set ups and invited my mom-friends to join and before long I realized how much I love it all. My friends and husband encouraged me to take my passion seriously and here I am - loving every moment of it!

When I'm not taking and editing photos, I'm playing in the nearby creek with my kids, hosting friends for game nights or trying to perfect my at-home iced coffees (I know this is a real controversial topic, but I'm a sucker for a good Pumpkin Spiced Latte).
